More Holiday Help: Additional Food and Gift Resources in Seattle

 

Following last week’s list of community holiday resources, we’re sharing even more programs across Seattle, Washington, offering food, gifts, and support this season. Whether it’s a warm meal, a holiday food box, or small gifts for children, these resources ensure no one is left out during this time of giving.

Here’s a second list of local food banks, churches, and organizations offering assistance:

1. Food Bank @ St. Mary’s

The Food Bank @ St. Mary’s will distribute holiday food on December 18 and 20, 2024. Families can stop by for essentials to prepare a holiday meal.

2. King County Holiday Assistance Programs

Families in need can access food boxes and holiday gifts for children under 18. This program helps make the holidays a little brighter for local families.

3. Catholic Community Services

Catholic Community Services hosts a holiday gift shop for low-income and working-poor families, ensuring every child experiences the joy of the season.

4. Shoreline Hopelink

Shoreline Hopelink provides seasonal foods for families in the Shoreline area, helping neighbors share special meals together.

This food bank offers Christmas food boxes, along with small gifts for children under 18, ensuring families can enjoy a festive meal and bring joy to their little ones.

Families in need can visit the West Seattle Food Bank for Christmas food and emergency financial assistance, including support for rent, utilities, and bus tickets.

7. Salvation Army – William Booth Center

The Salvation Army will provide a warm holiday dinner on Christmas Day from 12–2 PM, offering food and fellowship to anyone in need.

8. Westgate Chapel

Westgate Chapel hosts holiday dinners at 11 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM, welcoming families and individuals to share a meal and connect with the community.

9. Mount Zion Baptist Church

Mount Zion Baptist Church opens its doors on Christmas Day, offering a holiday dinner from 12–2 PM.
